Removing a stay/shroud

Hello all, I am a new owner and hope you can help me!

I want to change a lower shroud/stay. The stay is now loose but I cannot see how to remove the stay from the mast! Usually these just hook onto the mast but on this boat there is a cover and I cannot see how to remove!

Anyone know how?

I guess masts can be different models, as I dont know about the cover you are talking about.
On my boat mast, the stays are easy to remove, as on this picture.
Could you please post a picture ?

Hy,
I had the same issue on another boat, unfortunatly for you. I drill the rivet head and then I drive it off with a drive punch.
Once the stay is loose the cap can be removed by twisting  the cable.
