Hello,

Whilst I am learning French (and my wife is learning Spanish) I am not good enough to type and make sense, so google translate will do for now. Hopefully when I am further in my studies I will be better.

My wife and I started sailing full time this year and finished our jobs, for somewhere not as wet and cold as England. Our plan is for this year to end in Morocco. This summer we will be traveling the channel and moving into the Atlantic coast of France, Spain and Portugal.

We are hoping to be in France around July/August although we have not got the exact dates in yet, we travel with the wind.
This link shows our very rough travel plans and we will update it as we get closer to each step.

Well this trip is planned for 5 years!

we have upgraded our anchoring set up to a 20kg Rocna with 60m of 10mm chain and 50m of rope. 
15kg Bruce with 30m of 8mm chain and 30m rope.

As Gerard mentioned in his post, flying a Club Feeling flag will notify our members and ease meetings along your anchorages/stops.

As you may know, Northern part of Brittany from Brehat Isl. to Ushant is really nice; I would also advise Baie de Morlaix / Roscoff, despite being challenging technically wise, as scattered with semi-drying rocks and shoals; there is a recent deep- water marina in the NW side in Roscoff with lots of services.
There are also marked (leading marks) and buoyed channels to reach the southern part;

Anyhow, Sure you will find your way by meeting people along your journey;

We are now in Spain.

We visited Best, Margot, Benodet, gule de morbhan, crozon, houst, ile d'yue, la rochelle and ile de re whist in France.

In Spain we have been to Santander, Aviles, Ribadeo and Viveiro.

We will be moving to A Coruna on the weekend and will be there for a week

We have now passed Portugal and are in Cadiz, Spain waiting for a crossing to Morocco.

Disappointed that we did not see anther feeling all summer (but unatended at the marina) but we will be in the Med next spring and maybe find some there!
